About Our Signs
Quality that will last a Lifetime!
What makes our House & Office Signs so unique is that they are molded from original wooden blanks. You save money simply because all the time consuming detail work was done with the originals. Therefore we can sell the reproductions at a more affordable cost. The best part is....they will last a Lifetime! Molded from a high density urethane material that's long lasting and problem free. Quality so fine you can actually see the simulated wood grain texture in most of our house sign blanks! They are a bit lighter in weight compared to wood but be assured they are much more durable. They will not rot, crack or split even after prolonged outdoor exposure. All of the sign styles we offer come with either a raised or routed decorative border for a rich, finished look. We paint all the borders gloss black which nicely compliments all of our background colors.
Hand Carved lettering by New England Craftsmen! The distinctive round cut carving on all of our signs distinguishes our work from most others that only use the "V" cut style of carving. This is no more or less difficult, but it is in keeping with the uniqueness that we constantly strive for. Plus all of our house signs come with genuine 23k gold leaf with a hand painted outline and border unless otherwise specified.
About Us
We are a small, family owned and operated business established in 1973 when all signs were done the “Old School” way - by hand - with paint and brush. That was many years ago, well before today’s computer-cut vinyl lettering. But I do have to admit that I was one of the fortunate ones who has been formally trained by a Master Signwriter with decades of experience in the trade. He taught me all about the importance of creative design, proper color and typestyle combinations along with using effective layouts. That in my opinion is not seen very much in today’s quick print vinyl sign shops.
What sets us apart from this type of competition is the fact that we still employ those “Old School” methods in all of our work and over the years we have created a fine reputation for our unique handcrafted signs. By offering traditional sign making craftsmanship along with modern computer-aided design technology; you really do get a true mix of the old and new.
